Rose loves Derek who thinks he likes Rose but knows he loves Meredith who is not ready for commitment but loves Derek just the same. Meredith secretly wishes Rose was out the picture and that her and Derek were kissing again, Meredith was a one night stand with Derek so that he could get over his wife Addison who shagged his best friend Mark and who coincidentally fell in love. Derek left when he found out, met Meredith and had the one night stand, shortly after Addison joined us in Seattle and Derek and her tried to patch thing up. But than Mark came and tried to patch things up with the both off them. Mark also tried hitting on Meredith and the two of them created the dirty mistress’s club. Clearly after all of this Derek and Meredith belong together.I believe they must finish the clinical trial, have a happy ending together, with the two of them famous.
